The free SkyLine train provides a quick and convenient connection between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. It operates from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with services running every 2 to 3 minutes. Security re-check may be required when connecting

When transferring at Frankfurt Airport you may have to go through a security check again. Plan time for this and observe the regulations on carrying liquids, especially duty-free goods. Fast lanes are available at most major security checkpoints: if your onward flight is tight and displayed on the monitor at the checkpoint, you can take a shortcut to the gate via the fast lanes.

Baggage and separately booked connections

In most cases checked baggage is automatically checked through to the destination airport. If not, collect your baggage at baggage reclaim and check it in again with your airline; this also applies if you booked your flight connections individually (separate tickets). If you do not yet have a boarding pass for your connecting flight, obtain one at your airline's transfer desk, or at the information desk at the departure gate or the check-in desk in the public area.
